"I attended a paint night and they were available for orders during the event. The staffs were really friendly and the pizzas came quickly. The ingredients were really fresh and their Lekkerizza had very tasty chorizo slices. The pizza base is quite doughy, something I'm not used to be I do appreciate the authenticity."

"Tucked away in a little alleyway behind Goddess Cafe in Linden, John Dough's Sourdough Pizzeria makes some of the best sourdough pizza out there. We ordered the Mish-Mash (fig preserve, parma ham, goat's cheese, and rocket) as well as the Lekker'izza (bacon, Spanish chorizo, feta, and rocket). The Mish-Mash was the definite winner of this battle and would be my personal recommendation to anyone keen to try this place out. I was also told that they have a daily special, so be sure to ask them about that when you're there. The one on the day we were there was a vegetarian pizza made with hummus, basil pesto, caramelised onions, olives, and rocket. This is predominantly a takeaway spot, so bear that in mind if you want to sit down as the atmosphere is not the greatest and there is only outdoor seating with 4 tables. They also don't have a liquor license if you do want a drink. The service is great though, and the food is excellent, so that definitely makes up for the atmosphere. They will definitely see me again soon!"

"I think I just found my new favorite pizza spot in joburg! Happened to be driving by in an Uber and loved the name, lucky for me it was also on Uber eats. I got the pepperoni pizza without onions. 10/10 so good!"

"Delicious pizzas! I love a good sourdough base with a thick chewy crust, and that is John Dough’s specialty. I’ve had the pineapple and bacon pizza twice and both times it has been top notch. A great spot for a takeaway, with speedy service. There isn’t much outdoor seating so rather enjoy your meal at home."
